We are well into our Autumn and Winter events season at Victoria Hall, with a range of bookings from a Bejing art troup, Piano recitals, a Mental health conference, a training event, a guide leaders away day, and a number of singing and instrumental concerts, it’s going to be a busy time here!

Victoria Hall was excited to open it’s doors to the public as part of the Heritage Open Days 25th Anniversary.
On Tuesday 17th September we displayed the original architect’s plans for this beautiful Grade II listed building, led three guided tours, and loved hearing your stories about why you wanted to see behind the scenes at the Victoria Hall Sheffield

Places of Worship: Inspiring Ideas – City Centre Events Space Project, from the Heritage Fund
The Foundry Sheffield is delighted to have been awarded a grant, in partnership with Westminster Central Hall and Priory Place, Doncaster, to test innovative ideas in support of the management of, and funding of historic places of worship so as to help them become financially resilient so they are safeguarded for future generations.
This fund was extremely competitive with only 5 grants approved across the country, so we are delighted and grateful to the Heritage Fund for their support..

“Victoria Hall’s 1960s interior was a perfect setting. The staff could not have been more helpful, from our first visit to look at the venue to the actual event itself. It provided us with a fully accessible, city-centre base for our event: a space where we could easily accommodate our registration desk, meeting points of walks and tours, an audience of 200 people for talks, a small marketplace of books, magazines and prints, a green room for speakers, and a social area for delegates. It was perfect and, importantly, it was very affordable for an event run on a shoestring by volunteers”.
