Why the Victoria Hall Sheffield
As well as being perfectly positioned in Sheffield’s Theatre district, Victoria Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed building that offers flexible space, seating for up to 450 people and an impressive acoustic quality.
The team at Victoria Hall will work with you from planning to production, talking to you about your requirements, recommending or organising caterers, equipment hire and setting up the space in advance so you can just be with your delegates or performers, knowing everything is in place.
The Hall is available for straight hourly hire, but we can also arrange buffet catering, provide serving teams, and hire the equipment you need on the day.
In using the Victoria Hall you not only showcase your event in a beautiful and historically important building, you are also supporting the work of The Foundry Sheffield – a small charity, set up specifically to maintain and improve this building for the enjoyment of generations to come.
Things you may not know about Victoria Hall
We have a range of additional spaces and meeting rooms that you can use for rehearsals, refreshments, green room hospitality, or equipment. Size capacity ranging from 8 people to 100 people seated, our first floor rooms can increase the flexibility and capacity of your event. Details of these rooms can be found on our bookings website https://www.foundrysheffield.org.uk/room-hire.html
As well as providing a wonderful events space…..
- It is home to a number of important charities like Age Active, ASSIST, City of Sanctuary, Faithstar, Urban Theology Unit, U3A, and Sheffield Central Deaf Club, as well as three churches, four choirs, a number of keep fit and activity groups, and craft groups.
- The offices and activities here support vulnerable people from Sheffield and the surrounding area – people who may be homeless, living with chronic illness, socially isolated, and with needs that can be met in this busy city centre building.
- The income raised from your event goes to maintaining the building, and so the work of these organisations can continue, and that makes Sheffield a better place!
