The Main Hall comprises a spacious two-tier stage area, seating for up to 300 on the ground floor with a further 130 seats in the beautiful gallery.
Crowned by a decorative glass ceiling, this space is known for its sympathetic acoustics.
The Hall is accessed via a modern and bright café area which lends itself as a meet and greet area, as well as a comfortable place for lunch or interval refreshments.
In addition to the Main Hall, this large building is equipped with other rooms of various sizes for use in bringing additional elements to your events. For example, as well as the kitchen and café area at the front of the church, there are also a transept and a self-contained prayer chapel within the Hall itself which can seat anything up to 80 and 30 people respectively – perfect for use as ‘backstage’ or ‘holding’ areas for performers or their equipment.
Adjacent to the upstairs seating gallery are two smaller rooms often used as ‘green’ rooms for solo performers or orchestra leaders, or indeed as temporary office facilities for the duration of an event.
If your event is a conference requiring breakout rooms for delegate activities, the upper floors of the building, conceived and built to house classrooms and workshops in the building’s very early years, are perfect for such purposes, with additional rooms seating any number between 15 to 100 available for use.
